oopbuy QC Finder: The 20-Point Checklist Buyers Actually Use

The oopbuy QC finder gives you the raw material — warehouse photos of real buyers’ orders. What most buyers lack is a repeatable checklist to run through those photos. This guide is that checklist. Twenty numbered points, grouped by axis.

Structural axis (points 1-6)

1. Stitching alignment on primary panels. Straight, consistent length, no missed sections.
2. Panel joins. Corners meet cleanly. No bunching at intersections.
3. Seam symmetry left-to-right. Sleeves match, sides match, hem is level.
4. Load-bearing seam integrity. Reinforced where it should be (armhole, crotch, side seams).
5. Zipper alignment (if present). Straight, teeth match, no wave.
6. Overall shape. The garment lies flat as designed, no distortion.

Print / embroidery axis (points 7-8)

7. Front print sharpness. No ghosting, no mis-registration between color layers.
8. Interior seam finishing behind print area. Print quality often masks bad backing. Check both.

Material axis (points 9-11)

9. Fabric weight matches listing claim. A 400 GSM hoodie should look and drape like 400 GSM.
10. Weave visible in photo. Consistent texture, no thin spots or dye pooling.
11. Color under natural-light photo. Warehouse fluorescents shift color; cross-check with community daylight photos.

Hardware axis (points 12-14)

12. Zipper pull, buttons, buckles. Correct branding, correct finish.
13. Attachment integrity. Hardware sewn or riveted securely. No looseness.
14. Eyelet spacing (on sneakers). Consistent, aligned, correctly finished.

Trim axis (points 15-17)

15. Hangtag consistency. Font, spacing, material, printing all match reference.
16. Interior tag placement. Should match retail equivalent — not slightly off.
17. Care label stitching. Flush, not lifting.

Finish axis (points 18-20)

18. Glue residue check. Especially on shoes at midsole seam and inside collar.
19. Loose threads, unfinished ends. A single hanging thread can hide a bigger structural issue.
20. Packaging condition. Original box condition, poly bag intact, no crush damage.

How to actually use the checklist

Open two windows side-by-side: QC photos on the left, this checklist on the right. Read a point, look at the photo, either check off (mentally or on paper) or flag. Repeat for all 20 points.

Flagged points get a second look on a different photo angle. If you cannot resolve a flag with additional photos, reject and request a re-QC.

The two decision rules

Rule 1: two structural axis failures (points 1-6) = automatic reject. No exceptions.

Rule 2: one red flag on any axis, plus ambiguity on a second axis = reject. Ambiguity is a signal to slow down, not to trust.

How to shorten the checklist for repeat sellers

Once you have 3+ clean orders from a specific seller, you can safely reduce to 8 points on repeat orders: 1, 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, 15, 18. This is the trusted-factory shortcut — do not use it for first orders.

Writing a good rejection

Reference the point number and the axis in your rejection message. “Point 2 structural: panel join uneven at left underarm, visible in photo 3”. Sellers reissue faster on specific numbered rejections than on emotional descriptions.
